Now's your chance to make your dream come true!

If you ever dreamed of being a journalist or publicist, now’s your chance to take a first step to that end. We need a volunteer to help support the club’s public relations efforts with the local media.

Brenda Welsh has been our Publicity Chairman this past two years and she won’t be able to do it after June, 2009. Our loss! She already has established contacts to promote our events in the local newspapers. And, she will help the incoming chairperson to “show them the ropes” for the next six months.

The Publicity Chairman’s job doesn’t take many hours and most of the work can be done by e-mail or phone. Please help your club and volunteer today. This is an important part of getting members and guests to the monthly meetings and gaining visibility for the Verdugo Hills Art Association.

Please let me or Frank de Lucia know if you would consider this interesting position and be a member of the VHAA Board.
